About Us

Tom and Kathy Tuell live in Duncan, Okla., near the spot Tom’s ancestors settled in Oklahoma Indian Territory in the 1890s. Tom is a retired journalist whose professional journey stretched from beat reporter at the Lawton (Okla.) Constitution to editor of The Key West Citizen. Kathy’s professional path began in journalism, passed through pubic relations to social services and nonprofit management. She retired after 19 years as CEO of the Florida Keys Children’s Shelter. They share a passion for genealogy, gardening and grand adventures.
