This appears to be a studio photo of the Frost twins, Maud and Maggie (Margaret). Their father, Thomas Joshua Frost, was a medical doctor, pharmacist and photographer, among other things, but it is unknown whether he took the photo.

Rosanelle Frost, one of five sisters who came to Oklahoma Indian Territory with their parents during the land runs, married Edwin O'Connor, a young cavalry officer stationed at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Virginia Ann White Frost, wife of Dr. Thomas Joshua Frost. She was a tough pioneer woman who settled Oklahoma Indian Territory with her family around 1892. She lived to age 92.

Dr. Thomas Joshua Frost was a physician, pharmacist, photographer and hotelier. He settled in Oklahoma Indian Territory after spending several years in California during the gold rush.

Dr. Thomas Joshua Frost and his wife Virginia White Frost settled in Oklahoma Indian Territory in the 1890s. They set up home in Erin Springs, a small community on the banks of the Washita River near what is now Lindsay, Okla.

The Frost family gathers on the porch of their cabin in Erin Springs, Indian Territory. Dr. Thomas Joshua Frost first came to Beef Creek, Indian Territory (now Maysville), then relocated to Erin Springs on the Washita River the following year. Once settled in Erin Springs, he sent for his wife and family in Missouri.
