The Frost Branches

This is the branch of the family tree from which Tom descends. Henry Offord Tuell married Mazie Cecil Frost in 1916, just two years before the Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918 took Henry's life. Their only child was Tom's father, Henry Tuell II.

Twin sisters Maud and Margaret Frost, whose parents brought them to Oklahoma Indian Territory in the 1890s, married local cowboys William Russell and Stanley Graham. 

This line extends from the marriage of Rosanell Frost and Edwin O'Connor. "Nell" was working in Sierra Blanca, Texas, where relatives of her mother had a ranch. "Eddie" was a Cavalry lieutenant who was with an Army detachment that sought to capture the notorious Mexican bandit Poncho Villa. 

This is the line of Tom's paternal grandmother, Mazie Cecil Frost. Dr. Thomas Joshua Frost and his wife, Virginia White Frost, brought their five daughters to Oklahoma Indian Territory from Missouri in the latter 19th Century. They settled in Erin Springs, in the Chickasaw Nation, around 1895.
